Job Description: 

The Development Coordinator, Annual & Planned Giving, will play a key role on the Annual & Planned Giving team which cultivates, solicits and stewards approximately 6,500 annual and monthly donors. Reporting directly to the Director, Development Operations, the incumbent will focus on supporting the team through administrative duties such as meeting coordination, meeting preparation and database upkeep.

Specific duties may include the following:

  • Support concierge for the NAC Foundation’s Donors’ Circle and Corporate Circle donor stewardship programs;
  • Support mid-level donors with one-stop ticketing services, parking reservations and 1Elgin dining reservations, and general assistance to all donors via phone, email, and in person;
  • Assist with the planning and execution of open rehearsal events and provide operational support to the Annual & Planned Giving team;
  • Assist in other duties as required in furthering the goals of the Development team and the Foundation;
  • The NAC Foundation is a dynamic team, and roles and responsibilities may change and develop over time.
Requirements: 
  • Post-secondary degree or equivalent experience;
  • Experience in donor, customer, client services; experience in a performing arts setting is an asset;
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office software, including MS Teams, Outlook or similar scheduling software;
  • Knowledge of the Canadian charitable, philanthropic and not-for-profit sector;
  • Proficiency with databases and data entry; knowledge of Raiser’s Edge specifically is an asset;
  • Ability to operate and thrive in a collaborative environment, as well as to work independently;
  • Demonstrated flexibility and initiative;
  • Ability to think strategically and adapt quickly;
  • Detail oriented, focused and strategic thinker, with passion and energy;
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communications skills in English; bilingualism is an asset.
Salary: 
$49,500.00 - $61,800.00/Year, nding December 31, 2024.
