A Farewell and a Welcome

Warren Garret former Executive Director of Ontario Presents

This month, Ontario Presents’ is sending our best wishes for a very happy retirement to our long-time Executive Director Warren Garrett! Warren is retiring after more than 20 years as Executive Director of Ontario Presents, and a full career dedicated to transforming the performing arts sector. Colleagues from across the sector will agree that Warren’s quiet leadership, unquenchable thirst for knowledge, and boundless empathy will be greatly missed. Thank you Warren for leaving your colleagues and your sector better for your influence! Enjoy a much-deserved, restful retirement.

The Ontario Presents Board of Directors is currently undertaking a recruitment process for a new Administrative Director, who will co-lead Ontario Presents with Director of Programs Judy Harquail as we continue to work to support the sector through the rest of the pandemic and beyond.

We would also like to welcome the newest member of our team! Deborah Maitland has been with us for several months and we are so pleased that she will be extending her time with us in a new position as Communications Coordinator.
