As a member of the NAC’s Senior Management Committee, the Managing Director for English Theatre reports to the President and CEO and works in partnership with the Artistic Director for English Theatre to plan, produce and present a programme reflecting excellence in a range of Canadian theatre and the mission and goals of the NAC.
Managing Director, NAC Orchestra
National Arts Centre
Deadline: August 12, 2018
The Managing Director of the National Arts Centre Orchestra (NACO) is responsible for overseeing and directing the programming, production presentation and administration of international calibre musical programmes at the National Arts Centre including a robust music education program. The Managing Director, NACO, collaborates with the Music Director to create a spectrum of classical music programming that furthers the artistic mandate of the National Arts Centre. As a member of the NAC’s Senior Management Committee, this position reports directly to the President and Chief Executive Officer.
Assistant Technical Director, Indigenous Theatre
National Arts Centre
Deadline: November 4, 2018
Reporting to the Director of Production, and working under the direction of the Production Department Technical Directors. The Assistant Technical Director is primarily responsible for assisting the Indigenous Technical Director in the planning and co-ordination required to support the realization of productions, festivals and events held on the stages and in the lobbies of the NAC and its partners across the country.
