A Warm Welcome from the Mayor of Petrolia
Dear Delegates,
Nearly eight months have passed since I had the opportunity to spend some time getting to know you. During this time, we have been busy making plans to welcome you to Petrolia! I am impatiently awaiting your arrival so that you can experience for yourself all the great things we told you about.
Petrolia - or as I call it, “the greatest town on earth” - is focused on customer care, and on making our visitors feel like they are a part of our community. Shopkeepers are family, our volunteers are our lifeblood, and our visitors are the focus of all the work we do. The streets are lined with flowers and trees, signs that wish you welcome, and people saying hello; our beautiful Victorian architecture is only part of our story, and our oil heritage is merely the beginning. Charm is part of what makes our community stand out.
We are looking forward to taking care of you during your time in Petrolia, and making sure that your stay with us is one that you hold dear until your next visit. It is my promise and commitment to you that you will be taken care of, hosted and welcomed to our community, and that you will leave with a piece of Petrolia forever in your heart.
