Opportunity to Nominate Youth Participants at SPARC 2016 Symposium

Support for youth attendance at the SPARC 2016 Symposium is available with generous financial support from Canadian Heritage and the Ontario Trillium Foundation.

This funding will provide scholarships for 14 youth between the ages of 16 and 29 years from across Ontario and Canada. It will fund the opportunity to attend and participate in the SPARC 2016 Symposium being held in Haliburton, Thursday October 27th to Sunday October 30th, 2016.

The scholarships will cover the cost of travel, accomodation and meals.

SPARC needs your help in selecting 14 motivated and ethusiastic youth involved in the performing arts in their rural communities to attend the ground-breaking SPARC Symposium.

Please make your recommendations no later than July 14th, 2016 of young people that not only meet the criteria, but are also available and capable of attending the SPARC Symposium. Please include complete contact information for recommended youth as well as your reasons for suggesting them. As funding is limited, this opportunity is available on a “first come, first served” basis.

Send your recommendations to Rachel Gillooly by July 14th: rachel@sparcperformingarts.com
