Things are revving up for the IAMA Toronto 2016 Conference in November. Our event partners, The Canadian Music Centre and Opera.ca organizing a special performance as part of the IAMA Conference taking place in Toronto, November 10-12. They will be curating an event on Friday, November 11 at the Spoke Club featuring unique and compelling artists, ensembles, and programs. IAMA brings an international audience of artist managers, presenters, and other buyers to Toronto who are actively looking for tour-ready artists. It is encouraged that artists submit proposals for a 10-20 minute set (can include a single piece, a group of short pieces, a scene, or some other sequence of activities that encompass your performing practice). The event will feature Indie Opera productions and chamber music with an emphasis on contemporary Canadian repertoire.
Proposals are due September 8th, 2016.
