Ontario Presents has an extremely dedicated and committed board of directors. We would like to formally thank three board members who left the board this year.
Ken Coulter has been on the board of CCI and now Ontario Presents since October of 2005. In addition to his years as President, Ken has spent the past three years in the capacity of Past President, and we have benefited greatly from his insights and thoughtful contributions. We will miss him at our board table, but hope that his relationship and connection to Ontario Presents continues well into the future.
Cameron Smillie has been on the board since 2009, and has made valuable contributions to our discussions both from his perspective as presenter as well as artist representative. We look forward to working with Cameron in a variety of capacities in the coming months and years, and are especially anticipating our time in London as he is part of the team hosting Ontario Contact in 2015.
Sharon Davidson has been an active member of our board for the past 3 years, and did a great job of representing the volunteer sector, as well as the Eastern Ontario presenters. Our thoughts are with Sharon as she battles health challenges – we greatly miss her presence at our Ontario Presents board meetings.
Please join us in a round of applause to thank Ken, Sharon and Cameron for their commitment and dedication to Ontario Presents.
We would also like to thank Colleen Clack for her service as a President of the Board for the past three years. Our new President is Brian McCurdy.
