Application Deadline: October 10, 2012
In partnership with the Aga Khan Museum, Performing Arts and CPAMO (Cultural Pluralism in the Arts Movement Ontario), the Canadian Dance Assembly is thrilled to announce a Grant Subsidy Program. This Grant Subsidy is geared towards individuals and organizations who are motivated in promoting and expressing diversity in their work or in their administrative roles, and have a special interest in building bridges.
Committed to the promotion of diversity and pluralism in the professional field of dance, CDA offers its members and non-members the opportunity to apply for travel and accommodation grants, in order for members to participate in the National Conference in Ottawa (October 20-22), attend the I love dance Awards (October 21) and if possible, get engaged in the Art’s Day on the Hill, organized by the Arts Coalition (October 23).
The opportunity to attend the National Conference is unique. It will connect you to the national dance community, raise your awareness of dance in Canada and abroad, and provide you with practical guidance in technology and innovation projects. It will also focus on the implementation of pluralism in your governance models.
To apply, submit the following items to info@dancecanada.net by October 10, 2012 at 5pm (ET). Please include Grant Subsidy in the subject line. If you have questions, please direct contact 416-515-8445 or email info@dancecanada.net.
