What is VNS?
The Virtual Networking Series (VNS) is Ontario Presents' annual free online showcase. It gives performing arts professionals (presenters and programmers, artists and collectives, agents and managers) a place to gather, connect, and discover programming for upcoming seasons through artist showcases and agent pitches.
Each year, a jury selects artists and collectives from across Canada and beyond in theatre, dance, music, and youth and family audiences. Every selected artist creates a five-minute video introducing and performing their work, and we curate those videos into three programs, one per day. Presenters watch together live, comment, ask questions, and talk in real time about what stands out.

Applying for VNS 2027
Artists and collectives working in theatre, dance, music, and youth and family audiences are invited to apply. Selected artists receive a juried showcase slot seen by presenters across Ontario and beyond. Applications for VNS 2027 open in April/May 2027. Join our newsletter to hear when the call goes out.
Agent Pitches (2026 dates to be determined)
Agent Pitch sessions are an invitation-only opportunity for agents to pitch work suited to Ontario Presents' members and partner presenting networks. Agents tailor each pitch to the individual network's venue capabilities, audiences, and community.
