In honour of Canada’s National Volunteer Week, Ontario Presents is pleased to recognize the work of Ontario’s volunteer arts presenters who work year-round to bring the very best in the live performing arts to their communities.
In doing so, these volunteers enrich the lives of their fellow citizens and deeply engage them in live performance arts experiences that open their minds to our shared world. Hats off to these tireless and dedicated individuals whose contributions make our communities stronger and more vibrant!
How we can help
To help volunteer presenters access quality professional development, Ontario Presents has partnered with the Department of Canadian Heritage and Atlantic Presenters Association, to deliver free webinar series for arts presenters. All the webinars are offered in a friendly, non-intimidating learning environment and are customized to presenters’ needs and interests. The series address various topics including legal, financial and marketing aspects, specific to arts presenting organizations. There is even a dedicated three-part training on Volunteer engagement!
