From June 12-14, 2019, over 20 members of Ontario Presents gathered in Toronto for our Annual Spring Retreat.

This year we partnered with The Luminato Festival to offer additional programming for our members, as well as time spent connecting and discussing topics of shared interest.

On the 2019 May long weekend, four programmers from the Northern Volunteer Young Audience Network came to Toronto to view shows at three children’s festivals: Junior Festival (Harbourfront), Uptown Children’s Festival (TO Live), and WeeFestival (Theatre Direct).

For the second blog in the series, we spoke to Denise Bolduc about the Luminato Festival’s industry series, Illuminating works. Denise is producing both Illuminating works and BIZIINDAN!, a celebratory concert of Indigenous voices.
